I ordered a Xeon E3-1260L to speed up my father's computer. Asus P8H67 motherboard. The board had 16gb (2 * 8gb) ddr3 memory and a Pentium G630 processor. The list of supported processors is not indicated E3-1260L on the page of the motherboard. The purchase was a quest. I thought that since the core of the Sandy Bridge processor, there is a high probability of successful operation of this processor on the existing motherboard. For a successful start, I had to clear the BIOS settings of the board (by removing the battery for a minute). This processor is a great solution for 23$. The processor is cold. The small aluminum box cooler from the G630 cools it down easily. Thanks to the seller for a great product.
